Hotel Belmond Wedding in Florence is title of latest post of this summer, Nancy and Rob live in UK and opted for a lavish luxury destination wedding in Florence Tuscany surrounded of families and friends.

Overall theme was blush pink and I worked closely with bride Nancy to ensure that all matched perfectly for her big day, ceremony was held outdoor at magnificient italian garden of Hotel Belmond Villa San Michele which is located in Fiesole, just five minutes out of Florence Town.

Hotel was originally an ancient monastery and is nowdays an amazing luxury five stars hotel renowned internationally (just to know Kim Kardashian and Kanye West love Hotel Belmond Villa San Michele for their journey in Tuscany on 2014 to celebrate their wedding in Florence)
Elegant wedding arch with soft pastel tones of blush and pink avalanche roses on base of green ivy, fresh roses on right and left petals o aisle to welcome arrival of bride.

Bridesmaids wore a soft blush pink impero stile lovely dress which matched perfectly with baby breath white posy, scented round hand tied bouquet of english David Austin Roses for radiant bride Nancy.

Breathtaking reception view on mesmerizing loggiato, long tablescape set up for 100 guest,I loved mixing low decor with elegant tall gold candelabra set up and lots of candles completed all decor.
Enjoy lovely pictures of Beatrice Moricci Photographer.

The post for today is a white summer wedding at Villa la Vedetta.
Natalie and Liam, a fun-loving couple from Scotland, were married on June 29th, 2019 at the Hotel Villa la Vedetta at Piazzale Michelangelo. If you don’t know, this is a very famous square on a hillside of Florence and is easily a few minutes’ drive from the city center. If you visit, I recommend taking the Tuscan paths up the hillside by motor scooter. You couldn’t have a more Italian experience!
The ceremony was an Italian summer theme with a lot of greenery and lush white peonies, which are in season in June. The reception was held in the garden, with expansive views of the city and the Duomo (the architectural wonder created by Brunelleschi in the 1400s). About sixty guests attended the reception, and they dined at long, white tables with a mix of classic crystal and modern dinnerware. I wanted to create a truly Tuscan dining experience, so I lined the tabletops with full olive branches and pillows of white peonies bedded on top.
June 29th was probably the hottest day of the summer this year. I remember that I had to do a lot of work to keep the flowers healthy and happy in the sweltering heat. However, we were lucky to have such gorgeous sunlight for the photos!
Please enjoy the amazing photographs by the talented and gorgeous Peggy Picot of Maison Pestea Photography, who captured the pure emotions of happiness and love in the bride and groom as they cut their cake!

lush wedding reception flowers Tuscany

Personally I’m in love with gold and lush colors and here you see how to incorporate a pretty watercolor palette of peach blooms with this striking golden bowl. No matter is you are picturing long table or rounded one at your reception, use warm orange and greenery incorporating all sort of smoth flower’s blooms. Coloured glassware and dark linen above are only one suggestion, below white linen and gold tableware featured are another one.

The ombre water color theme continues on scented hand – tied bridal bouquet of David Austin English roses, an accent of buttercream and pretty pink with leaf of eucaliptus greenery.
