When Jaclyn and Alexander decided to tie the knot in May, they chose the breathtaking backdrop of Villa Merlo Nero, tucked away in the rolling Tuscan hills just minutes from the heart of Florence. For a floral designer, capturing the magic of a classic Italian villa during peak spring bloom is pure joy.

Their celebration was a masterclass in soft romanticism, featuring a color palette of powder blues, creamy whites, and lush greenery that naturally complimented the amazing villa’s historic gardens.

The Flowers That Defined the Day

• Bridal Bouquet in Florence Italy: Jaclyn held a breathtaking creation tailored specifically to her sleek, romantic gown. Designed with crisp white calla lilies, delicate garden roses, and rich clusters of powder-blue Oxitopelum, this tailored bridal bouquet in Florence Italy balanced timeless Italian elegance with a fresh, modern aesthetic.
• The Ceremony Arch: Framed by leafy olive trees, the outdoor ceremony featured a lush floral arch overflowing with white and soft blue hydrangeas, roses, and sky-blue delphinium. Cascading petal runner pathways greeted the couple as they exchanged vows.
• Al Fresco Banquet Tablescape: The reception moved to the gravel terrace, where long, communal banquet tables were transformed with grand crystal candelabras and lush, low-profile floral runners. The custom arrangements of pale blue hydrangeas and white florals mirrored the hand-painted blue-and-white porcelain tableware.

Crafting Unforgettable Wedding Flowers in Florence

Designing wedding flowers in Florence requires an eye for detail, deep knowledge of seasonal blooms, and the artistic capability to harmonize floral installations with iconic Tuscan architecture. Every petal in Jaclyn and Alexander’s wedding was curated to enhance the historical charm of Villa Merlo Nero while reflecting the couple’s personal style.

Whether you are dreaming of an intimate elopement or a grand estate celebration, bespoke floral arrangements bring your destination wedding vision to life.

Most elegant wedding of this year, color palette is white and green, a timeless winning choice.
Julia and Nick live in Canada and opted for an intimate wedding in Florence surrounded by closest friends and family.

Villa Merlo Nero offers an amazing garden perfect for outdoor ceremony on grass, and let’s talk about the Italian garden in front of the facade, this gaze!!

Regarding details what to say?

I totally felt in love with the bridal style, slipless dress, so elegant with this precious veil. Julia carried a total white hand tied bridal bouquet of English roses .

Ceremony decor is simple, minimal but elegant, two urns filled of Playa Blanca roses, petals on stairs to enhance the romanticism of set up.

Table decor is a lavish leafy green garland of eucaliptus with in between lots of white roses blooms and tons of candles.

I recommend!
Francesca was incredibly helpful with the florals for our wedding! I had an idea of what I wanted, but she knew our venue and made recommendations that turned out way better than my original ideas. She was very responsive and happy to have multiple calls to make sure the florals turned out exactly how we envisioned.

I definitely recommend her!

Yes it’s official white wedding flowers are a trend, color palettes definitely go in and out of style, and an all-white palette ensure that your wedding colors will never feel dated.

What about your bridal bouquet? Wether you go with a a classic arrangements or more novel, inventive bundle, there’s an inherent beauty in all- white bridal bouquet .

I was delighted working with amazing  burgundy color palette that bride loves, red charm peonies mixed with soft pink sarah bernhardt peony and red wine spray roses for all floral decoration.

Starting from hand tied bridal bouquet ( that is perfect with bridal look) to elegant church floral on gorgeous small church located 2 steps from Ponte Vecchio, to terrace of Gran Hotel Cavour with view of Florence Dome all is focused on feminine touch of peonies.

Two antique urns as Florentine tradition of wedding decor filled with eucalyptus and lots of burgundy peonies with an accent of soft pink peonies, then on long table decor a line of elegant transparent glass filled of burgundy peonies and red wine roses with an hint of white and soft pink, lots of candles to enhance beauty of decorations.

I’m grateful  as always to Aberrazioni Cromatiche Photographer for these pics .

Wedding in Florence is title of post of today, this frankly is my favourite wedding of 2022 and it’s quite easy to understand reason why.
let’s start from color palette, not only pink but lilac and purples blended together in a mix of romantic and generous abundance of soft, smooth tones of gorgeous pastel tone with just and accent of lavish green to add depth to the florals.
Flowers used are Sarah Bernhardt soft pink peonies, garden roses, blue delphinium, purple and white lisianthus and purple gladiolus.
Wedding ceremony was held at San Filippo Neri in the heart of our Florence town, aisle is adorned with lavish florals on both sides, two wide urns with gorgeous florals on same colorful palette.
Reception at Palazzo Budini Gattai where guests were welcomed at inner garden, elegant dinner with many lovely wedding decor ideas from under plate to decor and menu design to gorgeous staircase for cut of the cake!

Villa Medicea di Lilliano is magnificent venue in Florence where Brendan and Lindsey decided to held their knot in Tuscany.
gorgeous couple who live in Maryland USA opted for an intimate destination wedding on countryside of Florence on 11th of May
Perfect colors of this country spring knot are white of Babybreath and white of peonies blended with some light pink and an abundance of lots of olives and eucaliptus leaves .

Radiant bride asked me for a flower crown which matched with her bridal style dress and her scented peonies wedding bouquet.

Ceremony was held on garden and antique Medici fountain was definitely perfect backdrop and for me is truly a masterpiece!

Just two pillars on urns filled of Babybreath to decorate a garden ceremony set which is beautiful itself, aperitif on terrace of Villa and indoor reception considering after all a changeable forecast in the evening.

A long country themed garland of olives and eucalyptus leaves with between pure white and soft pink peonies adorned long tablescape for 40 guests, lots crystal candlestick holder make the rests.
